In the second Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, play resumed after the lunch break, with the hosts scoring 120 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.

On behalf of the national team, Mohammad Nawaz and Yasir Shah dismissed one Sri Lankan player each.
From Sri Lanka, Oshada Fernando scored 50 runs and skipper Dimath Karunaratne scored 40 runs while Kaushal Mendes scored 3 runs and was run out.

Sri Lanka have won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the second match of the 2-Test series.

National cricket team captain Babar Azam says that 2 changes have been made in the team.

He said that Fawad Alam and Nouman Ali have been included in the team instead of Azhar Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

He also says that the pitch for the second Test also looks favorable for spinners, hence Pakistan has added extra spinner Nauman Ali to the team.
