In the first test match being played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the national team has scored 87 runs in pursuit of the target of 342 runs given by the host team.

The fourth day of the Galle Test continues, the national team has scored 88 runs for the loss of one wicket while Pakistan need 254 more runs to win. On behalf of Pakistan, Abdullah Shafiq is on the wicket with 50 runs and Azhar Ali is on the wicket with one run while Imamul Haq is out after scoring 35 runs.

Sri Lanka's second innings

It should be noted that Sri Lanka has given a target of 342 runs to the visiting team Pakistan to win, the Sri Lankan team could score only 337 runs in their second innings after gaining a lead of 4 runs in the first innings.
The host team scored 329 runs for the loss of 9 wickets at the end of the third day, while they could only add 8 runs on the fourth day.
Sri Lanka's Dinesh Chandimul remained unbeaten on 94, who also hit 5 fours and 2 sixes.

Ushada Fernando and Kaushal Mendis also played well, scoring 64 and 76 runs respectively.
From Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz got 5, Yasir Shah got 3 while Hasan Ali and Naseem Shah dismissed one player each.

Sri Lanka's first innings

The Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 222 runs in their first innings.
Dinesh Chandimul was the most outstanding player from Sri Lanka who played an innings of 76 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 4, Yasir Shah and Hasan Ali took 2, 2 while Naseem Shah and Muhammad Nawaz took one wicket each.

Pakistan's first innings

In response to Sri Lanka's 222 runs, where the national team suffered difficulties, once again the man-of-crisis captain Babar Azam saved the team from a big loss by playing a memorable innings.
The national team returned to the pavilion by scoring 218 runs, in this innings Babar Azam also scored the 7th century of his Test career.

Muhammad Rizwan 19, Yasir Shah 18 and Hasan Ali 17 were the prominent batsmen for Pakistan.
For Sri Lanka, Prabhath Jayasuriya took 5 wickets, Mahesh Takshana and Ramesh Mendis took 2 and 2 respectively while Kasan Rajitha got one wicket.
