The national team achieved the target of 342 runs given by Sri Lanka at the loss of 6 wickets.
In Pakistan's pursuit of the target, Abdullah Shafiq put in a brilliant batting performance, he played an unbeaten innings of 160 runs, which included 7 fours and a six, while Muhammad Nawaz remained unbeaten on 19 runs.
Captain Babar Azam also batted well, he was dismissed for 55 runs.
Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Azhar Ali, Muhammad Rizwan, Agha Salman and Hasan Ali were among the batsmen dismissed for Pakistan who scored 55, 35, 6, 40, 6 and 5 runs respectively.
